This session we will look into the innovative integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) within MARMAR's medication management platform to enhance drug form classification. By harnessing the power of a generative model and a Medical BERT model, the result is a robust dataset of +3k medications and their respective forms.
Ahmad Rufai Yusuf is a designer, AI research engineer, and the founder of MARMAR, an AI-powered medication safety platform designed to personalize drug interaction analysis and mitigate the risks of inappropriate polypharmacy. He holds a background in Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Technologies from Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences. His work focuses on LLMs, NLP for healthcare, NLP for African languages, and AI safety—particularly in clinical applications.
