Introducing Command R+: Our new, most powerful model in the Command R family.
A procurement consulting firm wanted to build a tool to summarize historical vendor procurement documents to help in future procurement discussions and optimize contract terms. The most valuable information was a supplier’s priorities and historical performance, but this information was often spread across different presentation decks, notes, and documents. Extracting all of this information was time-consuming for staff and required expertise.

The customer is currently working with Cohere to fine-tune a Command model that can ingest and summarize multi-modal files, such as PowerPoint decks, notes, and PDF documents. The goal is to train the model using previous contract negotiation materials and previous summaries compiled by skilled procurement staff.
